Drake Ties With Jay-Z For Most R&B/Hip-Hop #1s
Drake continues to dominate the charts. After surpassing Diddy for the most Rap #1s back in October, Drizzy’s “The Motto” featuring Lil Wayne has risen from #3 to #1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The single marks Drakes ninth #1 hit, tying him with Jay-Z for the most #1s.
“The Motto” knocked Drake’s own “Make Me Proud,” featuring Nicki Minaj, from the #1 to #2 spot, making him the first artist since 2008 (Alicia Keys) to replace their self at #1.
Among rap albums, Drake’s second effort “Take Care” is now in fourth place for the most weeks at #1.
Congrats to Drizzy!
