Back in November, Common dropped a diss track called “Sweet” aimed at Drake, to which Drake responded with his verse on Rick Ross’ Stay Schemin that also features French Montana. On the record, produced by The Beat Bully, Drake raps:

“I just ask that when you see me, you speak up n*gga that’s all / Don’t be ducking like you never wanted nothing / It’s feeling like rap changed, it was a time it was rugged / Back when if a n*gga reached it was for the weapon, nowadays n*ggas reach just to sell their record.”

Now, Common is firing back with a remix to “Stay Schemin” and photoshopped cover art for the single, replacing Drake’s name with “That Hoe Ass Nigg%.”

The Chicago MC spits:

“My motto is Chicago bitch, everybody know you’re sweet, what the problem is? / Don’t play dumb, I’m the one that acknowledged this / The rapper of the moment, the style he don’t own it / Acting all hard when he hardly like that / You gon’ mess around and make me catch a body like that / Don’t do it, ’cause every song you make Joe is really hoe music.”

No one knows why these two are even beefing, but it’s reportedly because Drake was getting it in with Common’s ex-girlfriend, tennis star Serena Williams.
