RUN THE WORLD: Beyoncé’s “4” Goes Platinum
According to Beyoncé’s official website, her fourth album “4” has been certified platinum by the RIAA. After hitting shelves on June 24, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, selling 310,000 copies in its first week. To date, “4” has produced the worst first sales week of her solo career. Her previous three albums: Dangerously In Love, B Day and I Am…Sasha Fierce have also peaked at the platinum mark.
