Foxy Brown “Mooning Case” Dismissed

These last few years it seems Foxy Brown, real name Inga Marchand, has spent more time inside the courthouse than inside the recording studio. Recently, she finally caught a break when the charges that she violated a court order by mooning her neighbour Arlene Raymond in July of 2010 were dropped.

Brown was issued the court order after pleading guilty to hitting Raymond with her Blackberry cellphone back in 2008. The two had been in a dispute over Foxy blasting her car stereo outside their Brooklyn building.

Yesterday, State Supreme Court Justice John Walsh dropped the charges against the Brooklyn rapper after Assistant District Attorney Robert Isdith revealed that Raymond did not wish to testify.

“While the district attorney’s office has no doubt the defendant committed this crime, we have no other choice but to dismiss this case,” Isdith said.

Hopefully, Foxy will get her ish together this time around and give us that long overdue “Black Roses” album!!
