All Of Beyoncé’s Looks In The “Formation” Video
On Saturday, Feb. 6, just one day before her Super Bowl 50 halftime performance, Beyoncé dropped a new single and music video, “Formation,” unannounced, sending the internet into a frenzy. While many fans praised her unapologetically pro-black stance in the video, others were more eager to get the scoop on her outfits.
The stunning visuals were directed by Bey’s longtime friend Melina Matsoukas, who has directed 8 other videos for the singer since 2007.
The song was produced by Mike Will Made It, sans his famous drop, and co-written by Swae Lee of rap duo Rae Sremmurd, who are also signed to the producer’s Ear Drummers label.
As usual, Bey worked with a team of stylists to serve up an array of high-fashion looks, including Zerina Akers, former Cosmopolitan marketing director Shiona Turini, and celebrity stylist Marni Senofonte.
