Kristen Stewart Apologizes For Cheating On Robert Pattinson With Director Rupert Sanders
Actress Kristen Stewart has publicly admitted to having an affair with Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, who is married with two kids.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” the Twilight star said in a statement.
US Weekly released exclusive photos of the 26-year-old actress engaged in a “steamy makeout session” out with the 41-year-old director in L.A. on July 17.
One photographer told the mag “it seemed like they couldn’t get enough.”
Rupert issued a statement of his own to PEOPLE saying, “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
To add to the drama, Rupert’s wife, Liberty Ross, played K-Stew’s mother in Snow White. After the story broke, she posted a picture on Instagram of a drunk Snow White with the caption, “Not so pretty or so pure after all.”
Liberty has since deleted her Twitter account and Pattinson has reportedly moved out of the home he and Kristen have shared for three years.
