SOAK IT IN: Amber Watkins SWIM Launch Party At ‘JunXion’
I couldn’t remember the last time I went out on a Friday night but when Canadian swimwear designer Amber Watkins invited me to the launch party for her online store, shopamberwatkins.ca, I had to show my support.
The private event was held at downtown hot spot ‘JunXion’ and things were already in full swing when I showed up. Guests sipped on champagne as they mixed and mingled, while a huge projector by the entrance displayed photos of Amber’s past collections.
I bumped into a few familiar faces, including my old co-worker Crystal who I hadn’t seen in ages. Later on, we were treated to a intimate fashion show downstairs and a gift certificate for 25% off any purchase from Amber Watkins SWIM.
As usual, I couldn’t leave without taking a few photos.
